MADRID, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Tuesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.67 percent or 61.30 points, to a total of 9,260.50 points.

A total of 31 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa advanced 2.54 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial went up 2.01 percent and steel manufacturing corporation AcerlorMittal rose 2 percent.

Consultancy and technology company Indra A lost 1.34 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Technology solutions provider Amadeus fell 0.98 percent and pharmaceutical company Grifols went down by 0.83 percent. Enditem
