MINSK, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Belarus' international reserve assets reached an all-time high of 13.7 billion U.S. dollars on Nov. 1, the National Bank of Belarus said on Wednesday.
This marks an increase of 441 million dollars, or 3.3 percent, from the previous month, the bank said.
The previous record was set on Oct. 1 this year, when reserves surpassed 13 billion dollars. The latest growth was primarily driven by a rise in the value of monetary gold holdings, which climbed from around 6.6 billion dollars to over 6.9 billion dollars.
The reserves significantly exceed the planned target of 7.1 billion dollars for the year. The goal for 2026 is to reach at least 9.2 billion dollars. ■
