HANOI, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's agro-forestry-fisheries exports earned 58 billion U.S. dollars in the first ten months of this year, up 12.9 percent year-on-year, Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday, citing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
In October alone, the exports reached nearly 6 billion dollars, up 6.3 percent compared to the same month in 2024, the report said.
Asia is Vietnam's largest market, accounting for 44.7 percent of the total agro-forestry-fisheries export value.
Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien said that if the current growth momentum continues in the final two months of the year, the sector's total export revenue could reach a record high of 70 billion dollars, local newspaper VnEconomy reported. ■
